Rockwall Cellars

Generation Washington State Red Blend 2012

This is Generation Red Wine Blend actually. Pretty low budget label design, but the simplicity fits. Smells like old books, old wine stores and grandma’s potpourri. With a bit of fruit jam too. Smell is great. The way aged red wine should be. Flavors are lovely. Holds a complex mix of forest berries, chocolate mixed with fruits (cherries and blueberries), pastries of cream and fruit and fresh cut cedar shingles? This is big, bright red that aged into a wine of finesse and elegance. Great bottle of wine. — 8 months ago

Aromas of sweet rose & incense, balanced acidity and pink grapefruit on the palate. Revitalizing! — 8 years ago

Mendocino County Zinfandel 2009

Solid Zinfandel. I'd say it's on par with the Rockwall that we like. Notch lower — 10 years ago
