By far the best Tostado sweet wine from DO Ribeiro! Beautiful and elegant, this delicated wine is a hidden jewel in the World! It should be considered as good as Sauternes and Tokaji... — 12 years ago

This is the Mencía red. 2018. Not much to see on the simple, direct yet modern label. Deep dark maroon to black color. Aroma is perfumed and floral. Aromatic plums, rose petals, violets. Cherry juice. Flavors are juicy and spiced. Cedar meets cherry fruit compote. Hint of masala. Bittersweet streak to finish. Unique floral red with a bit of GSM meets Tempranillo style to it. Savory & slightly salty finish. This would go with chorizos or a salty spicy sausage like nobody’s business. — 3 years ago
