Purpur in der Farbe / dicht / mittlere Viskosität/ Nase fruchtig, herbal. Beim schwenken Aromen von Marzipan, Hagebutte, Colakraut. Am Gaumen rassige Säure, mittlere Tannine, Alkohol moderat bei 13,5 Prozent. Langlebig. Im Nachhall warm, Aromen wiederholen sich. Erinnert sehr stark an einen Garnache aus Navarra. — 6 years ago

Mann Winery - I like this producer and all that they’re working towards. 100% Pinot Noir “combines the power of limestone (Calx) with the cool elegance of porphyry (purple)” I read... I agree. Good mineral influence but with the little oak that was showing - fermented in small barrels - it lacked acid to pull both minerality and wood together in harmony. Nice character, wouldn’t avoid drinking again but not one of their standouts. Unsulfurized and unfiltered. — 6 years ago
