Move over Cocchi and Lillet! This is perhaps the best quinquina vermouth I’ve had. It’s a good aperitif when served up or chilled, but the extra cardamom kick makes it a great cocktail ingredient. It makes a really good Vesper, but try it on a Bijou:
- 1.5oz navy strength gin (I used Krobar from Paso Robles, but Plymouth or Hayman’s should work great)
- 0.75 oz Green Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz ?! no. 73
- olives or cherries — 5 years ago
Yummy and a little jammy - not exactly sweet but some tartness in there! — 5 years ago

Our go-to cranberry wine. Tart and not too sweet. Perfect each year around holidays. — 6 years ago
She Drives a Plymouth Satellite by Fat Orange Cat Brew Co. is a New England style IPA. I love the name and the artwork. Such whimsy. This beer is a rich expression of the genre with mango and lychee notes. Thick and smooth. It's a delicious smoothy of a beer. @Delectable Wine — 7 years ago

Symphony “A GARNACHA ROJA × MUSCAT OF ALEXANDRIA cross bred by Harold P Olmo in 1940 at the University of California at Davis and released in 1983 (Walker 2000).”
My first introduction to Symphony was at Scott Harvey in Plymouth, CA. Jana Wines series “One Last Kiss” white blend (Chardonnay, Mendocino Riesling, Symphony, New York Cayuga). Floral & off-dry, Delicious blend, repeat purchase at the winery.
My next introduction at Michael David in Lodi.
“ These estate grown grapes are some of the first plantings of its varietal in the state.” Floral & Fruity, Lodi fruit, 11% ABV, Love the Muscat qualities, repeat purchase at the winery.
Now, Maple Creek Winery - Artevino - Estate Symphony. Its nice to see Symphony from a cooler climate. White floral, grapefruit & lemon, zippy acidity. Nice seafood wine. 13.4% ABV, would be interested in a sparkling version. Textbook wine, pull up the Symphony page on wine-searcher.com :)

2013 Syrah just released!!!! It has an amazing bouquet of lavendar and Lillys. The initial palate is loaded with dark berry fruit, and a deep, robust oak and a smoky cigar box experience. And then, all of a sudden, it calms down into a velvety, chocolate, black pepper, and vanilla landing, like the ocean gently rolling onto a sandy shoreline.. Then comes a very soft and subtle black cherry and very dry finish. WOW. This little Andis Winery never ceases to amaze me. Thank you ANDrew and JanIS. This wine you’re making is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely the best in Plymouth. — 7 months ago
