Not nearly as well balanced as the 2011 vintage... This one is more acidic, more sour, but! There's hope first off air this one out for at least 3 hours and it'll already be better. We've got a bottle on reserve which we will open in 5 years (2022) here's hoping*fingers crossed* ~19$ SAQ — 7 years ago

Lovely light wine almost like a Pinot Noir — 5 years ago
Piave is right next to Valpolicella, a new DOCG since 2010. Uses some dried grapes and has the alc levels and dark fruit profiles of Valpo ripasso. Like valpolicella, this wine has a strong grape leafy dill thing happening. Like Valpo, it's hard to drink more than one glass. — 7 years ago

Very nice. Prominent oak, deep fruit, some cocoa and spice. Reminiscent of a lighter failed-back Amarone or Valpolicella Ripasso. — 6 months ago
