Papapietro Perry's 2012 Charles Vinyard Pinot Noir's spicy nose lingers in anticipation of a fresh red berry front mouth explosion of strawberry, raspberry that mellows blueberry pairs well with Lee, Laura, & Gus' (owners and chef at SoundSide of Morehead City, NC) fresh, local lump crabmeat, fresh local organic spinach leaves and sautéed snowpeas ... Side by side comparison of 2009 Juslyn. Very impressed. The Perry's Blend is a very good wine. The Spring Mountain Cab is sensational. Though Robert Parker liked the Perry's Blend even more, so what do I know? Seriously though, I highly recommend both wines but the Spring Mountain is especially worth seeking out. — 9 years ago
