I know i have had this wine before and didn’t like it, but for some reason letting it age longer than a usual white wine improved the taste. — 5 years ago

Needed something big with some age on it to follow the ‘12 Ramey Pedregal. This did the trick. — 4 years ago

Ramey Wine Cellars

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

A luscious promise in a bottle, rich, boldly aromatic and loaded for bear with cocoa powder and oaky tannins. It tasted like the early morning earth smelled on my last bike ride through Yountville flats. So primary, like just bottled. May be as good as the Pedregal of '08 but we won't know for 5+ years. — 9 years ago

Honestly, that was part of my motivation in becoming a winemaker: it's not a cure for cancer, but in a small way, if people enjoy wine with meals, it makes the world a better place.

I happen to spend my days helping find a cure for cancer. You and me have a good thing going as long as you keep doing this amazing stuff and inspiring excellence. 🍷

Triumvirate Pedregal Vineyard Meritage 2011

It’s funny. Paring is important. This is great with a peppery tri-tip and makes it a 9.0. Not great with pasta or anything without peppery taste. Also the storage or the way it was bottled could have something to do with it as well. Completely different compared to the same vintage almost 6 months ago. — 7 years ago

Cache Pedregal Vineyard Meritage Blend 2012

2012 simply delicious. This wine is a rich bold wine with a smooth taste from the moment it touches your tongue until after it is gone. Highly recommend. — 9 years ago
