Figgy wonderland. First time with this grape nothing to complain about except lack of more vanilla ice cream. — 2 years ago

If one person in the relationship likes salinity and minerality and reads The New Yorker. And the other likes perfumey but still dry whites and reads The Economist. Well this is your wine. Cloudy/unfined. Unripe peach, honeysuckle, and salt. — a month ago

Hands down, it is arguably the best ancestrale I have ever tasted. And it even can compete with serious bubbles. So let's call Cicala annoying for its price (hehe, annoying Cicala; you get it, right?) and vinous for its qualities.
Honey, spoiled apricot, curry, Mivina spices, soap, potato chips, tropical fruits. Complex, generous and persistent. Fresh and a bit salty in the finish. I absolutely love the iodine touch.

Right up there with the best sweet wines I have had in a while. Apricoty joy. Paired very well with peach tart tatin — 3 years ago

Pale, lovely delicate sour acids, softening into fantastic balance after a while, helpfully cutting through the salty anchovies I drank it with. — 6 days ago
