Palmalias Vermentino di Sardegna

Dry, tannic. One of the better Italian reds I've had. Cherry, vanilla, subtle. Neither over-powering or understated - well balanced. — 20 days ago

Sardegna DOC Vermentino

This is delicious. Balanced, tangy, lemon fresh. Dirt cheap. Probably pairs well with hard boiled eggs and coffee. — 10 months ago

Sardegna Cannonau 2017

This wasn’t revealing anything upon opening but has become very enjoyable with some air. Translucent ruby, this is lighter and more delicate than you imagine it will be. Classic old world Grenache nose with cracked black pepper, wet concrete, and dusty red fruit which translate very nicely to the palate. Pretty, pretty good. — a month ago

Palmalias Cannonau di Sardegna 2015

Translucent Ruby red color and full bodied. Dark bramble fruit with light notes of leather and earth leading to a smooth moderately tannic finish. Tasty, hefty red. Good on it's own, but better with food. Will pair well with a good BBQ or flame grilled steak. Great value. — 2 years ago

100% Bovale (more or less). Intruiging stuff with a strong personality that states; "Hey, I'm here - check me out". For me, for sure, one of the vinous revelations so far in 2017. Bovale... who knew? — 2 years ago
