Nisia Old Vines Rueda Verdejo 2016

Ripe golden apples, hints of lemon liquor and woodiness in the bouquet. Apple, blood orange, white peach, hints of cranberry on the palate. Strong golden color and medium thick legs, a hint of gingery spice on a juicy finish. Nice food wine, went surprisingly well with spicy veg pizza.

Las Suertes Rueda Old Vines Verdejo 2016

A 100% Verdejo with exotic fruit (pineapple, mango), but also fresh white fruit (ripe pear, melon), vanilla and some fine herbs in the finish. Complex wine, very nice indeed. — 4 days ago

Nisia Las Suertes Old Vines Rueda Verdejo 2015

Ripe, concentrated, juicy Verdejo. Barrel fermented but less marked by oak than other high-end versions of this varietal, still plenty of own-rooted character (from highest parcel in Rueda w/ sandy soils). For the money it's killer — 3 years ago
