2016 vintage. Tasted Dec 2016. 30% new French oak gives this Chardonnay a rounded creamy mouthfeel to support the citrus and stonefruit notes. Plenty of complexity and interest, with a generous length at the finish. Would have again. Highly recommended for@Chardonnay fans looking to explore new regions — 8 years ago

Showing its age, dusty tannins, soft. Short on the finish. Typical narkookee dark fruits and silk. — 7 years ago

Mid Ruby red with a lighter rim. Red fruits - cherry and strawberry - some bunchy, Sous Bois notes - not dissimilar to the William Downie last night. Another East Gippsland Pinot (“when in Rome, do as the Romans”). Young but from a good vintage with much promise - more development in the pipeline. A light to medium weight sappy palate with good Gippsland terroir coming through. — a year ago
