Solid Cab. Very drinkable now — 8 years ago
An excellent 2012 Sangiovese from a small winemaker in Glen Ellen (and a former general contractor who retired to make fab wines). We had it at a local restaurant in July 2013 and just had to visit the winery before leaving wine country ( & it was mid morning) and we were impressed...we have been hooked since then. Uncorking this amazing bottle for tonight's dinner is a celebration of over 4 years of great times and a new chapter! — 9 years ago

Fruity, full bodied, delicious. Great with a steak. — 10 years ago
"a striking dark crimson hue, opens with aromas of ripe berries and black fruits, interwoven with hints of vanilla, caramel, raw tobacco, leather, clove, blood orange peel and roasted walnuts. On the palate, the rich and gracious flavors of briary blackberry, dark cherry, right plum cassis, and red pear are enhanced with nuances of wild sage, cinnamon, black pepper, dark chocolate and a kiss of fine oak". A complex, beautiful CA blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. — 4 years ago

Good stuff. Classic CA cab character but severely overpriced at the winery, which one only learns after buying it for well less than half of their price at Bottle Barn. — 8 years ago
