Good. Fruit is in the purple zone, dark savory notes include coffee and caramel, have to say wine is 15%+ (within the 1% variance of labeled 14.9% ABV), acidity is med+. A lil hollow on its own and could benefit from blending. Suggest pairing with coffee rubbed pork loin with blackberry compote. — 5 years ago
Delish and well balanced wine. Perfect on an August afternoon. — 6 years ago
Alianico old world grape from Lodi Mettler Family winery. Small lot production from 1/3 acre plot. Ripe fruit, hints of leather and vanilla. Long finish and a very earthy bouquet. Great with red meats. Winery only so make a trip to Lodi. — 10 years ago

This is one of my favorite Zins in Lodi! It is rich, and it is jammy... but it is well balanced, and can’t be beat when paired with beef, broccoli and sleeping puppies. — 6 years ago
This is a great cab! Smooth and flavorful. Could have a little more interest to the palate, but still wonderful. — 7 years ago
