Peter Dredge! Best value riesling recently. That finish persists even against spicy asian food. Flinty, lemon, lime, chalk, apples. RS balances the searing acidity. Undeniably Oz.
Note: Picking was on spec, I would have liked to have held a little longer but lost my nerve early April and took it before some forecasted rain. Whole bunch pressed oxidatively, 85% of the racked juice was fermented naturally in stainless steel with temperature control for purity, the balance in an old French oak barrique for a hot natural ferment textural hit. — 8 years ago

Sometimes a wine like this is just what one needs - bright, crunchy, uncomplicated without being boring. From 375, chilled.
From BH: A collaboration between Peter Dredge (Dr Edge and Meadowbank), Joe Holyman (Stoney Rise) and Mike Bennie (The Wine Front). Here, Pinot Noir (40%), Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris have been employed to create an incredibly refreshing still wine, with elegant raspberry leaf, red cherry crunch and savoury spice to taste. — 5 years ago
