Smoky, leathery love — a month ago
Classic amarone: Prunes, figs, raisins, dark chocolate notes with great firm tannins but still fresh and acidity. Brighter than other years but definitely a tasty wine that pairs well with steak or certain desserts. Definitely will try other vintages. — 6 months ago
A perfect pairing with tonight's sausage pizza and lasagna. Took me a minute to figure out who makes this wine, as the producer's name is in the smallest print. Dusty cherries, plums, leather, basil, tea leaves at the end. Fair acidity and a very soft mouthfeel make this chianti a winner.
Listening to my new addiction: a song called "Trickster" by Maromaro. Heavens to Betsy, I wish you would all check him out. A brilliant guitar player with his own unique voice. — 11 days ago

Clear, medium to deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced intensity primary and secondary aromas of black plums, blackberries, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with medium acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of blueberries, black cherries, and tar with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense, but the alcohol is a little high. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie likes it, too. — 17 days ago
