I’d put this in the category of “supremely balanced”. It could age another year or so but the tannins are like the harmony to the melody of the gourmet grape jam notes. Normally saying a wine reeked of grape jam would be an insult but this is...like artisan grape jam. With a hit of booze in it. That you’d spread on brioche. Not the most complex cab but really lovely. Soothing. Lullaby wine. Perfect pop n pour with a friend to round off a busy Monday. — 7 years ago

The sun would set so high
Ring through my ears and sting my eyes
Your Spanish lullaby" A good Spanish wine from Rioja. Thick texture, soft tannins and plenty of fruit. — 10 years ago
Strong acid and fizz at first sip that quickly dissolves into a mellow lullaby of an aftertaste. Not very sweet, vegetal, medium body, herby- a little chive-y, a bit salty even which is such a nice contrast to what you expect of such a beautiful peach color! — 5 years ago
wow!
lazer sword bubbly, quite nutty and apple peel.
not a lullaby experience, for gods sake.
absolutely gorgeous, a champagne statement! — 9 years ago
Fully mature, and holding together wonderfully. A lighter vintage for this, very raspberry fruit character, with a spicy, moderately funky, congruous nose. Not overly complex, but she floats across the palate like a lullaby, no edges remain. Still quite vibrant, a delicious treat - a toast to one of history's star vignerons. — 9 years ago
Thicker mouthfeel than many rosés. Well-balanced with a pleasant bitterness on the finish. Strawberry, guava, and hints of wet gravel. — 6 years ago
May not be for everyone but the complex vanilla, orange, and nut notes really stand out. — 9 years ago
Light, refreshing, perfect balance of acid. — 10 years ago
A triumph... After all these decades the elegance is like a lullaby and the gentle touch of an angel from burgundy.... Cheers to those who thrive the test of time — 10 years ago
