Bocins Blanc Selecció Especial 2020 Grenache Blanc + Viognier 30% fermented in new French barrels. Fresh white peach, white pear, white flowers, a touch of Mediterranean herbs, a whiff of freshly baked bread. On the palate this has quite some weight but also retains a lot of freshness. White stone fruit, a bit of peach pith, a hint of almost bitterness and pleasant greenness. Underneath - a core of slatey minerality with a saline edge. Almost a tannic mouthfeel. A bit rough around the edges which adds interest. Good balance, tension, some depth. A brilliant food (fish!) wine. — 3 years ago
