This is deep. Merlot tends to be Cinderella in comparison to cab, but Whitehall Lane had elevated its stature. Textured and supple with chocolate and coffee notes. Very fine example. Kudos to the winemaker. Hint of age on the palette, so drink now for maximum enjoyment! — 7 years ago

Tribute wine to three generations of the Leonardini family. This is a heavy duty red blend that needs some steak and chocolate to soften it up. Good vintage. Great wine for the price from the heart of St. Helena to your table...will be out for club visit in late March. Can't wait — 6 years ago

I have fond memories of early to mid 90’s Whitehall Lane Morisoli vineyard wines. I drank a lot of them in my early years as an attorney and I couldn’t get enough. This ‘95 is a blend of Morsoli and Leonardini and is waning. Nice reminder but couldn’t go nose to nose with the Arnot Roberts G3 on this night. — 5 years ago
