First encounter with this unusual grape from Muscadet region. Kermit Lynch import. Thought Alsatian due to bottle shape. Nice medium yellow color and floral stone fruits and chalky nose fading to asparagus (according to Leila). Lucious profile carrying through to palate with firm texture to long acidic finish. Great with the salmon and leeks. Too bad only bottle AA 13. — 4 years ago
CVed 10/2/19 prior to NC trip. Dark Ruby color and first a hint of funk that blows off followed by layers of dark cherry earthy aromatics that evolves in glass over minutes. Surprisingly fresh and complex lively texture with long finish. A winner. Too bad only bottle from JR at $68. Wow. Opened 9/10/21 Deborah (Leila) visit. Exact same profile! Yum. Really opened up after an hour. — 5 years ago
Beautiful Riesling. Gorgeous golden color. Gentle breezes of sweet Riesling notes of fruits and stones followed by caressing textures and lingering finish. Yum. Actually too yummy to go with the Mary revised Leila curry chicken that was less spicy than thought. — 3 years ago
Very enjoyable, smooth Pinot. (From Leila & Mike) — 4 years ago

Just at the edge of too much oxidation. Nice golden color but got that hints of sherry nose and notes of oxidation on palate. However went quite well with the garlic and spicy shrimp by Leila! Waited too long and got bit of preox. — 4 years ago
Good new world style Zin but not overblown. 15ABV but not too hot on palate. Can taste the wood but reasonable. Long finish. Interesting nose of ripe berries currants and savory note (burnt salmon skin? From Leila). be great with meats. Only 300 cases or so. Two days later tasting even more balanced. First day under gas. Second in Eto. Working out great. — 6 years ago

Intense aromas of dark fruits, ripe dark cherries and spices, wood. Amazingly round and warm with soft hedges. — a year ago
