Peaty, complex and smooth, could be Scottish but of course it’s Japanese! Delicious and balanced whiskey with notes of smoke, spice, leather and vanilla. I could drink this until I pass out. Enjoyed this gem at the sushi bar at Pearl Dragon in Pacific Palisades, with sushi master Ryo and his awesomely friendly clientele. A memorable evening and a memorable wee dram. — 7 years ago
