And the acidity? Had it on my radar quite some times but I fear it would be to “natural” or “funky”
@Anthony De Blasi I would describe it as noticeable, but not sharp or imbalanced. I have no clue how long it was in the decanter. With respect to funky, it did not impinge upon on my level of acceptability. It is a very pure wine with remarkable power given the 11.5% alcohol.

My write up was unfortunately deleted while submitting the wine as it was initially unidentifiable. In summary, it’s big and bold with luscious plums, dark cherry, and blueberries. Very well integrated but dominant leather, tobacco, black pepper and anise. This well age beautifully over the next 5-10 years. It’s ready to drink now, but patience is a virtue. — 7 years ago

I believe this is aged in amphora. The nose leaves no doubt its cab franc, green aromas dominate. On the palate , green peppers,earth and the smallest hint of red fruit. Lots of structure here.. — 3 days ago
