A more refined, very smooth and complex aged grappa an Aqva di Vita. Also picked it up in Italy and finished at a family dinner. — 10 years ago
I Legni Frassino Grappa Stagionata In Barrique. Pale green-lemon hue. Medium intensity of grapes, nuts and almonds. Solvent spirty, woody notes, vanilla, smoke, varnish, pear drops. With water added, more fruit aromas to the fore, with wood relegated to the background. Matured. On the palate, off dry, warming alcohol, medium body, silky textured. Pronounced flavour intensity of vanilla, vanilla essence, caramelised grapes. Long finish and very complex. Very good. — 11 years ago

Missed a few courses and wines. But this grappa was lovely — 4 years ago
