This inky wine smells like black berries and plums, with a delightful lacing of minty herbaceousness. Clove, vanilla, tobacco and an array of spices join in for the olfactory party. Light on smoke, but still very enjoyable. Fuller bodied than expected. Morel cherries, a lil spice, oak and smoke on the nose. I almost want to try this with a beef bourgogne or a nice skirt steak. — 5 years ago
