Very pleased. Bought this whilst on holiday in Switzerland last week and, not having tried - or even heard much about - Swiss wine before, I wasn't expecting much. Yet this wine rivalled some of Burgundy's with its lightness, low acidity and aromatic flavours. An exemplar Pinot Noir, very impressive. — 11 years ago

This is a fine Swiss Pinot Noir from Markus Ruch, an acclaimed producer one hour north of Zurich. Medium ruby, the nose exhibits delicate aromas of red cherry, red plum, very subtle wood smoke and a green, herbal note. Medium-bodied, the wine delivers good concentration, slightly chalky tannins and a clean finish. Drink from 2024 until 2030. — a year ago
