From our friends at Le volpe e l’uva, this is a tasty pinot nero from the Sudtirol-Alto Adige region in north central Italy. Reminiscent of a high-end, Village-level burgundy, this has terrific fruit on the palate, bright, vibrant acidity, and a nice finish. This probably goes for less than 20 euros at the shop, but would be bargain at twice that price! — 6 years ago
