Talisker

The Distillers Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky 1550

Great classic but still love it. Peated with iodine and salty caramel taste. — 2 years ago

Dalwhinnie

Distillers Edition Single Highland Malt 2012

1st of the flight. A nice palate opener. Not complex but a nice starter to the tasting. This is the Distillers version which they say is better than the 15 but not as good as the 25. — 5 years ago

Lagavulin Distillery

The Distillers Edition Double Matured Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 2005

The best possible medium plus ballpark frank aromas then bright and birch-y (if I dare say so) on the palate. Smoke is the calling card, earth and bakery aromas back it up. — 3 years ago

@Paul T- Huntington Beach it’s a bit on you, thanks to trying Glenmorangie now by mind is expanded if not too much. But seriously you shared one of the first Scotches you told me old!

Yeah I remember, but this bottle has some serious Peat & Smoke. Nice upgrade. Great winter nights pour

Springbank Distillery

21 Years Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Its been awhile since my last glass, so good!
Distillery notes,

For this particular edition, the distillers in Campbeltown used whisky drawn from both Port casks and rum casks - 45% came from Port casks while the remaining 55% was drawn from rum casks. Distillery's note: "Nose: A delightful fruitiness bursts through; watermelon, strawberry laces, brambles and blueberries followed by crushed vanilla pods and glazed cherries. Taste: Chocolate covered oranges and Caramel shortcake! Deliciously full bodied, with tropical fruit squash, gingerbread and dried mango. Finish: A captivating Campbeltown Malt; sea salt, oily and fruity. Lemon sherbet, whipped cream, apple peel and salted pretzels complete this beautiful dram!"
