@Michael Meyer - Santa Clara Valley AVA and Santa Cruz Mountains AVA. Gemello was in Mountain View (SCV), while Woodside is SCM, even though it is NW of Palo Alto. Fixed.

You got to love it!! I probably sold that wine to some store. Sold the last mags the winery had to North Beach Restaurant in '77-78. Best Cabernet vineyard ever.

Aged Cab flight- replacement for the flawed 1979. Fill into the neck, although the cork was pretty fragile. Still dark and good life in it. The Gemello and Woodside were nice historical references for Santa Clara Valley and northern Santa Cruz Mountain AVA wines. — 6 years ago
