Almost as good in Gaylord as it was in Beaune... — 10 years ago
Annual family tradition of going to the Gaylord Resort for a night, seeing the Christmas decorations, eating at Bob’s, and going to the ICE! exhibit. Always a weekend to look forward to! (And yes, that bottom right photo is a sleigh, Santa and reindeer all carved from ice!)
Bob’s had this bottle of Jordan for $95...that’s a difficult deal to turn down. Lovely nose of violets and cherry liqueur. Jasmine too. First bottle wasn’t as good as the second, but we were able to decant the 2nd and this wine needed at least 45mins. Great color and texture. Blackberries, blueberries, fig, bing cherries. Balanced. — 7 years ago

Nice Cab bottled for the Gaylord Texan. Very earthy and oaky with notes of fruit just flirting with the taste buds. Nice full body with lovely tannins. — 10 years ago
