Back-to-back Grosbois cuvée's. This is very gentle, my favorite expression of Loire cabernet franc (and hard to find). Red fruits, cherry, pie, spice, and perfumed forest floor. Tart fruit and dusty tannins with a long finish. A more contemplative wine this is. Not as good as the 2018 Gabare but the juxtaposition of the candied aroma and the racy, tannic wine is intriguing. — 4 years ago
