This wine was great! No bitter after taste for me and the little bit of sweetness was nice - not too much. — 10 years ago
Dark dark thick purple, big slow legs. Rich nose, cherry and alcohol and some oak, reaching all the way to the back of the sinus cavity. An occasional sweet whiff of lipstick. Medium acidity, medium tannins. Palate flat at first, compared to richness of bouquet. But over time develops nice juiciness -- back at the roof of the mouth. Dry finish at first, then longer and juicier below the tongue. Time is good! Day 2 the acidity and tannins balance out into a nice texture that brings the palate up to the nose. — 7 years ago
(with blind nose) huele mas alo fuerte. Completamente flat en toda la lengua. Mas en el roof del mouth if anything. Suuuper trankilo, en todos los angulos, — 9 years ago

Allow time to breathe before drinking. Opens with VA and Brett but does simmer down with some air and the rumblings of well-intentioned banter. Although there was some delicate and welcomed stone fruit on the nose and palate, it was slightly lacking in an acidity that was needed to round-out and deliver the flavors. Finishes flat, on the roof of the mouth. Too shy to be judged and exposed by other tastebuds, possibly. I do like this producer though, so I’ll certainly be returning for more. And, well, as natural wines go, like a bad piece of fruit, it could have just been this bottle. — 4 years ago
