Loved this. Paired with fish as an early course in the best meals of our lives at Tegui in Buenos Aires.
Not a sauvignon blanc fan but this wine is smooth and balanced without the brassiness of most interpretations of this varietal. — 9 years ago

Really enjoyed this one. Deep color, soft feel with a nice spice. A little light on the palate, not a long after taste. — 7 years ago
On the nose, shy dark fruits of; blackberries, black raspberries, blackberries, some dark cherries, a little cherries and strawberries, pepper, coffee grounds, black licorice, soft leather, light baking spices, saddle-wood, light spice, underbrush and lavender & violets.
On the palate, the bottle not quite full. The tannins are a little beefier & sticky than the previous wines. Blackberries, black raspberries, blackberries, some dark cherries, a little cherries and strawberries, pepper, coffee grounds, black licorice, tough leather, lots of wood, light baking spices, light spice, underbrush, dark red florals lavender & violets. The acidity is very good and the ripe, well balanced finish is nice.

On the nose; fresh pineapple, honeysuckle, pear, lemon, lime, melon, grapefruit pith, yellow & white florals.
On the palate, the body is full, round & waxy. Ripe pineapple, pear without skin, lemon, lime, chalky volcanic minerals, saline, yellow & white florals. Big round acidity and a nicely polished finish.
