Dark ruby color. Aromas of blackberry/black currant, baking spices and dried herbs. The full palate also features black berry/currant fruit with hints of black olives, earthy mushrooms, graphite and black pepper. Long smoky and tangy finish. Firm tannins and soft acidity. Full bodied and rustic but austere at the same time. Great balance of fruit and tertiary flavors. Pleasant surprise. Thanks for sharing, Keith S! Revisited in November 2024.
