All the BDX varietals, including Carmenere, in one (Malbec and Carm dominant?). Wet stone, vanilla, and dried cherries on the nose. On the palette the vanilla is still very evident (mmmmm, luscious oak), but isn’t just stbding there twiddling its thumbs; black currant, plum, white pepper and a hint of rhubarb make for an interesting quaff.
