Grapes with a shade of prunes.

A nice, dry, restrained sauvignon blanc. No great sweetness. No great sourness. It went amazing with the traditional Burgundy cuisine we enjoyed this evening in town. — 7 months ago
Had this in 2013 in Paris at restaurant. — 6 years ago
The 2016 Irancy Fut de Chêne has a bright red cherry and cranberry bouquet with touches of pressed flowers - perhaps a hint of iris. The well-balanced palate offers a fine bead of acidity and gently gripping tannins, then delivers clean blackberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with brine toward the finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the BIVB Chablis tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2018) — a year ago
While most Burgugny wine are priced so high you have to sell your own kidney on the black market, here is a simple, flowery wine that finds us with a rare price-quality ratio (~$9). Pleasing to drink with friends, with or without appetizers. (Do not drink if you sold your kidney the last time you bought a bottle. This is not a long term investment). — 5 years ago
