Cotes d'Auxerre Pinot Noir 2011

Fresh, as behooves an ultra-young pinot. Some red fruits lingering on. An elegant easy drink — 2 years ago

Saint-Bris Sauvignon Blanc 2017

A nice, dry, restrained sauvignon blanc. No great sweetness. No great sourness. It went amazing with the traditional Burgundy cuisine we enjoyed this evening in town. — 7 months ago

L' Ame du Domaine Irancy Pinot Noir

Looks old in the glass: off red, rusty color. A little hot on the nose but well balanced with some cherry once you go for it. Go for it! — 5 years ago

Irancy Elevé En Fût De Chêne Pinot Noir 2016

Delectable Wine

The 2016 Irancy Fut de Chêne has a bright red cherry and cranberry bouquet with touches of pressed flowers - perhaps a hint of iris. The well-balanced palate offers a fine bead of acidity and gently gripping tannins, then delivers clean blackberry and wild strawberry fruit laced with brine toward the finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the BIVB Chablis tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2018) — a year ago

Côtes d'Auxerre Bourgogne Chardonnay

While most Burgugny wine are priced so high you have to sell your own kidney on the black market, here is a simple, flowery wine that finds us with a rare price-quality ratio (~$9). Pleasing to drink with friends, with or without appetizers. (Do not drink if you sold your kidney the last time you bought a bottle. This is not a long term investment). — 5 years ago
