Killer value and quality for the price. Every Montanet wine is a surprise. Pure, aromatic, soft, balanced, and feminine. I could drink this everyday. — 9 years ago
Bright and snappy up front with dark fruit flavors coming through; a medium to high acid and almost a creamy mouthfeel that lingers just enough to leave you wanting more — 5 months ago
Delightful, no major characteristics evident — 6 years ago
Next visit: Domaine Montanet-Thoden. Organic farming, slow fermentation and little sulphur used. The father of our host (Mr. Thoden) takes care of the fruit in the vineyard. Clos Dû is a vineyard with clay and limestone soil. Great structured chardonnay with a strong mineral backbone. — 10 years ago

Vintage 2022 | if there was an Oscar for drinkability, this Burgundy would be a winner. Treacherous simple it seems but it is a good effort of the vintners. Beautiful Pinot expression in smell. Glou glou in taste, no frayed edges. No tannins whatsoever. Paired with grilled tunafish, red with fish pairs excellent. Do not think of putting it in the cellar, if you can enjoy it so much on a daily base now. Like! — 21 days ago
