This is a special cuvee that Leon only made once to celebrate the birth of his son. It’s a Cabernet/Merlot blend and effing brilliant. Sick nose. Herbal/bell pepper with big cassis, some wood, but not obtrusive. Floral and just beguiling nose. But the palate. My goodness. Elegant and structured with insane sap and structure but the freshness is what really sets this apart. This is magical wine. Wow. — 6 years ago
