Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2022

Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of raspberries, black cherries, and smoke; on the palate, it's dry, with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of lavender, strawberry jam, and fresh asphalt with a medium finish. This wine is intense and complex, but a little off balanced due to the bitter asphalt flavor. Overall, I rate this wine as good. I think it would be better after a few more years in the bottle or after a good decant. — 12 days ago

Vieilles Vignes Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2019

Beautiful cherry color. Ripe red fruit nose on the upper rim, with some herbs and garrigue. And wow. Fruit explosion on the palate, with more ripe red fruits, baking spices, and medium tannins. A slight meaty note, but the fruit dominates nicely. This is a wine with personality. — 3 years ago

Plan de Dieu Red Rhone Blend 2016

Great structure and fruit, but the tannins were a bit chewy. Maybe let this one sit for a couple of years. — 6 years ago

Great with lamb chops. Light body, nice acidity, medium fruit. Also good on its own — 5 years ago

Fresh and refreshing with a creamy finish. Notes of candied strawberry, cherry candy, citrus, peach, with a wet rock finish. Really enjoyable and only 15 USD. — 6 years ago
