Wow. Right up my alley. Dark wine. Cedar and pencil shavings nose. Black plums and blackberries. Good tannins and acidity. — 2 years ago

The boss assigned this bottle as homework for the weekend. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, lavender, spice, chalk, and more. Soft tannins, with good body and a long, contemplative finish. Damn. — 10 years ago

Dark berries, spice, cocoa and jalepeno. Surprising find recommended by a good sommelier at Domaine a Vins in Long Island City. Not my favorite wine on the planet but (very good and) definitely one of those wines that make you think about wine. Edit: I think the spice is cinnamon and cloves — 7 years ago

70% Sangiovese, 30% Colorino, and 100% crushable. The nose has some anise-y notes and herbs, leading to a juicy but saline body. Freshness galore, sip and slosh. — a month ago
