Experimenting with Islay, love the peat, especially as this one mellowed with the sherry cask. Bought it because Trevanian's hero in his book Eiger Sanction drank a lot of it and a skit have club member in Dawson, Yukon did so as well. — 9 years ago

Drank at Res Ispa with Dawson, Omar, Shirley, Tife, and mar — 5 years ago
Fair bit going on here, still feels like time could help. Ripe citrus moving into stone fruit of delicious ripe white peach. Honeyed florals with solid oak overlay. Creamy that’s offset by almond paste. Acid is high, entirely pure and drives the palate.
Good length, with touch of oak tannin on the back giving shape. — 6 years ago

Rich and mouth filling. Spices, red and black fruits. Medium bodied with medium plus intensity. Coats the palate. Fermentation with 40% whole bunches. A classic Tasmanian Pinot. Very good but a point or two behind their stellar 2015. 98 points and Top 100 Wines of 2020 from James Halliday. — 3 days ago
