Very surprised that my hometown winery could produce such fine wine. I likes its dark color and berries smell, a bit sweet and low tnnins. it's a great value for everyday drink. — 6 years ago
A very well-balanced merlot from Hebei region, a compote of red fruits, aromatic with rounded tannins, fruity and slightly juicy. A hint of chocolate and some dried leaves and black forrest by the back-end of the palate. Moderate texture and finish. — 21 days ago
Amazing Chinese wine — 6 years ago
Very well done, probably the best wine I had from China ever, please keep in mind that my experience is limited, well balanced, lots of black fruits, wood, earth, medium to full body, good acidity, well integrated tannins and a long balanced finish. My score 88+, drink to 2023 — 6 years ago
I'm very glad we drank this blind as if I'm being honest I probably wouldnt have given this a fair chance. Very well rounded and silky with the obvious nod to Bordeaux. I believe this will also improve with time. Price is quite high — 2 months ago
Always a treat. Such an incredible and unusual distillate. Currently being served in the Air Canada LHR lounge, I almost couldn’t believe my eyes. — 8 months ago
Introduced to me by the sommelier at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai. The wine comes from a Xinjiang vineyard. Rkatsiteli (stands for “Red Stem”) is a grape from Georgia (Europe/Asia) for making white wine. It is surprisingly good. Crisp, leafy taste, sweet tasting (pear & coconut), mineral — 6 years ago

100% Merlot from Jiulongding Village in Yunnan. Progression of mulberries, cranberries and dark cherry notes. All berries notes concours with the palate. Licorice and Thymes are on the mid-range along with some moderate astringency towards the finish. High in ABV 14.9%. — 16 days ago
