Clos Luern

Tigerno Gamay 2020

Gamay from the Auvergne. Volcanic soils.
Day one, you could easily blind mistake this for Listran Negro from the Canary Islands. All rocks, charcoal, and black fruited. Commands the glass.
Day 2, the nose isn’t as effusive, but red fruits are peeking through, bojo style, and the palate has a luxurious, creamy feel.
Brought up in 160L Amphorae for 8 mo.
Great stuff!

@Daniel Bloom Exploreating the different expressions of a grape variety such as gamay through different soils and territories is an exciting thing, isn't it?
