Golden yellow. There’s a lot of cooked apple on the nose, along with lychee nut, rose pedals, citrus peel, and a hint of Trident gum. Medium bodied with medium acidity and a slightly oily mouthfeel. Flavors of cooked apple, lychee nut, and canned pineapple. Finishes with a touch of heat and long lasting flavors of cooked apples and peppermint. Lively summer thirst quencher! — 9 years ago

The nose is immense and thick and Port-ish. Raisins, plums, maple syrup and caramel. It's full bodied and the texture is kinda grainy. The mouth has some good acid with flavored of cranberries, plums and raspberries. It has a CLASSY touch of sweetness and not a CRAPPY touch of sweetness. This Merlot is brilliant. 2012 Vintage. — 11 years ago
