Opera night, at our favorite French restaurant and enjoying this amazing Chenin with halibut in a red sauce with leeks and fiddle-heads. The nose is typically cloying as most Chenins are and displays caramel, oak and vanilla that transitions into a lovely palate of hay, new oak, quince and lime zest. Love it. — 6 years ago
