Château Husson

Les Saumades Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

As other reviewers have noted, this wine is earthy with chocolate notes. It has good nose with some alcohol in it. The finish is wonderfully dry. I haven’t had CDP in an awhile and this was a great return. It may have been just a bit strong for our Thanksgiving turkey dinner. But it was so good, it was still a special occasion. — 5 months ago

Château Husson

Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2016

Red fruits, licorice and spices on the nose. Not very typical. The palate is very young and lively. Nice red berries all along, strong acid drive, good width with matter on the sides, there is an almost milky mouthfeel with a nice soft touch which goes up to the mid palate tannins part. The finish is kicked off with that string acid drive, these nice and easy tannins, that lovely tangy red fruit and these spices. Too young and needs some food to show its bright side. It was paired with a massive rare T-bone steak on the barbecue which helped the wine show off a bit. — 4 years ago

Husson

a Fleury La RiviereBrut Rose Champagne

an amazing champagne of craftsmen. Unfiltered with a remarkable symptomatic deposit of living wines. Greedy nose tangerine and peach, white Porto or Madeira notes, a touch of bitter orange. The palate is very digestible and suggests respectful vinification with little sulfur; it is a real wine that can be enjoyed on its own as well as as an accompaniment to petit four, fish, and even a dessert with orange or tangerine. — 4 years ago
