Needing some variety from my cellar - I picked up this $12.99 Bordeaux from my local ‘packie’- liquor store for those not from the northeast. At open it had alcohol, tannins, perfume on the nose - same taste. An hour later, all tannins - like wet slate / but fruit was peaking through. 24 hours later, it’s smooth, light tannins, and delicious red and black fruit delectably coming through. This is why I love wine and especially French wine. That said - holding up a glass to all those in wine country recovering from the horrible glass fire. Napa strong ! — 4 years ago
