Had the merlot/cab sav/10%cab franc blend to pair with French dinner while visiting DC. Lightly dry with some roundness and sav flavor with a hint of pepper in the finish. Enjoyed immensely ($60 at the restaurant). — 8 months ago
Very complex aromatics of leather, earth, slice, game, cured and smoked meat. Dried tobacco and cigar. Palate still has bright fruit (red), and dried lemon citrus peel. Lengthy finish. — 10 years ago

Blend of Merlot (70%), Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) and Cabernet Franc (10%). Aromas and flavors of blackberry, black currant, black plum, forest floor, tobacco, dark chocolate and baking spices. Long and dense oaky finish. Fresh (but high) acidity and chewy tannins. Velvety texture and bone dry. Still tasting a bit young but heading to a reasonable place. Thanks for sharing, Matt. — 16 days ago
