Deep ruby color, soft fruit, nice pepper flavor on the back of the pallet. This is a very good drinking wine but it needs another year or two for the fruit and tannins to come into balance. — 5 months ago

Solid 9.3. A real Pinot — 3 years ago
More of the French style and flavor profile than most Oregon pinots but still undeniably willamette. Very enjoyable with more muted fruits and pronounced earthiness. Wish I had more than the one bottle left. — 8 years ago

Aromas & Flavors
Vibrant red cherry and blackberry lead, evolving into a bouquet of violet, and dark chocolate. Subtle hints of graphite and baking spice add depth and sophistication.

Full-bodied with a rich, multi-layered texture. Tannins are polished and well-integrated, offering a smooth, refined structure that carries through a long, seamless finish.

At The William Cecil for valentine's day with Amalia. Lovely bottle with beef main and scallops. — 6 years ago
The 2021 has the tannins that the 2020 was missing. They’re soft but balance out the wine. This vintage has lots of butter flavor from start to finish. Great flavors of cherry and oak. This is a very nice drinking wine. — 5 months ago
The 2019 is ready to drink now. Strong pepper notes accompany soft tannins and fruit of cassis. This wine has a good mouth feel and is quite refreshing! — 5 months ago
Prior review hold but with the bottle getting some air time I think it’s showing better. On the palate it is smooth and not overly hot. It fills the moth now and is not just on the tongue (but it’s still there in force) with a nice bite in the cheeks. Liking it. — a year ago
Complex, juicy and spicy, Willamette Pinot Noir, with slightly astringent finish, birthday gift (Urban Grape) — 5 years ago
Not a Pinot Noir for the newbie. More Burgundy, less California with a bouquet of tarragon, cedar, mint, redwood, black cherries, blood orange peel, green olive, sea spray, and smoked game meats. Intense, complex and a real joy for a lover of earthy, terroir-driven Pinots with a character. — 8 years ago
