The 2021 has the tannins that the 2020 was missing. They’re soft but balance out the wine. This vintage has lots of butter flavor from start to finish. Great flavors of cherry and oak. This is a very nice drinking wine. — 5 months ago

Prior review hold but with the bottle getting some air time I think it’s showing better. On the palate it is smooth and not overly hot. It fills the moth now and is not just on the tongue (but it’s still there in force) with a nice bite in the cheeks. Liking it. — 10 months ago
Deep ruby color, soft fruit, nice pepper flavor on the back of the pallet. This is a very good drinking wine but it needs another year or two for the fruit and tannins to come into balance. — 5 months ago
The 2019 is ready to drink now. Strong pepper notes accompany soft tannins and fruit of cassis. This wine has a good mouth feel and is quite refreshing! — 5 months ago
