Guidi

Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Very citrusy, almost no finish. Light and reframing. Apple in the nose — 6 months ago

Monte Guidi del Carmine

Riserva Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

A nice soft fragrance of dark cherry, vanilla and strawberry. Drinks very smoothly with flavors of spice, dark berries/cherry. Opens up very nicely once it breathes and is easy to drink! — 5 years ago

Guidi

Riserva Chianti Sangiovese 2013

French vintage aroma, because French oak which is small are used, and for longer period due to reserva. SV90 MLT10. Classico only from Gallo nero, where the regulation to be classified as Chianti is SV>88% while in other areas, >70. Calm, elegant SV but with fruity and concentration with balanced tanning. Later on a bit spicy can be felt. @,, 180727, 181003 — 6 years ago

Poderi Dal Nespoli

Borgo dei Guidi Cabernet Sauvignon Sangiovese 2016

Very enjoyable. Rich and full bodied, a soft initial mouth feel followed by a good sense of structure, shows well integrated tannin. Dark, almost stewed fruit (in a positive way). The Sangiovese and Cab Save come together well in this interesting wine that reminded me of a Puglian Primitivo in some respects. — 6 years ago
