Very nice red blend, fruity but dry. In an Alsace style. Blend of Pinot Noir, Marquette and Lucie Kuhlmann grapes — 6 years ago
My first Canadian wine ever! A red wine from Nova Scotia of all places. And it was surprisingly good. It had a Pinot Noir or perhaps Pinotage character. Medium bodied, good acidity, dark earthy allspice under-notes. It was a blend of three grape varieties that have been developed in the north east and adapted to their local climate: Lucie Kuhlmann, Castel, and Marquette. Cold hardy, early maturing varieties. Some of these varieties have Pinot noir in their heritage and one of them, Castle, has the Cinsault (Hermitage) in its crossings. — 2 years ago
Picked it up on a wine tour in the Wolfville area...quite tasty. Not overtly earthy, and fruity enough to remind you that it came from a grape...but dry & mouthy enough to still make you pause & savor. — 8 years ago
Una alternativa a champaña de muy buena calidad y a un precio muy razonable — 5 years ago
Bright, fresh, pineapple flavour. Smooth, creamy, went well with a spicy Thai salad. Would drink over and over — 5 years ago
Very clean and soft. — 8 years ago
Citrus, melon, gooseberry. Lots of mineral and acid in the finish. Nice, crisp and clean. Would be great with hearty fish like tuna and anything that veers toward a softer, tangy Asian pallet. — 9 years ago
