Almost a sweet dark cherry finish on the nose. Soft taste of plums and other dark fruits and chocolate (?). Minimal tannins. At the winery which stated that the smoke from the 2020 fires produced a “ much more subdued wine than in the past. — a year ago
Merlot and Syrah compliment each other well. Opens with the mild cherry vanilla Merlot then the richer, spicier Syrah. Solid effort very pleasant finish.

Pours inky. Initial taste of sour cherries and dark fruit. The middle softens to mild raspberries and cherries. Ends with dryness and long dryness. — 2 months ago
This wine is great! Soft tannins, really well balanced Petite Syrah. Paired perfectly with the wife’s homemade Chilly on an unseasonably cool and rainy spring evening in the valley. Big thumbs up — 5 years ago

Robust Lodi can. Some raspberry/blackberry fruit up front, spicy clove and pepper toward the finish. Hearty and pretty complex. — 9 years ago
Inky pour. Big aroma of dark sweet (?) berries. Soft berries up front - not as deep as the aroma suggested. However, delicate dark fruit in the middle. A quick finish. But very enjoyable! We were at the winery earlier this year and it was a pleasant surprise! — 4 months ago
